Jersey-style bagels, hand-rolled and boiled in North Hyde Park
The bagels here are hand-rolled and boiled the old New Jersey way, not pressed or baked from frozen dough. That's the whole point, and the name says it outright: the owners grew up on Jersey bagels and couldn't find them in Tampa, so they built one themselves.
It's from the team behind Santoro's Pizzeria, landing on West North B Street as Tampa Bay's bagel scene exploded with new shops chasing the same craving. Homesick closes at 3pm, well before the lunch rush most bagel spots stick around for.

Just received my bagel via uber eats 5 mins ago and instantly had to leave a review. WOW! These reviews aren’t joking. With all of the new bagel places popping up in Tampa, I was a bit hesitant, but this place is the real deal. I will only be getting bagels from here from now on. Delicious!!

As a visitor to the Tampa area, I saw the reviews and pictures for this place and it delivered! The bagels have the perfect dough consistency you desire in an exceptional bagel, and each of the toppings were quality ingredients and well prepared. The service was fantastic and quick! A great experience and highly recommend for a great way to start your day!

Holy Bagel Batman!!! These bagels are incredible. Chewy exterior, soft but firm interior, flavor and texture on point! Coworkers and I ordered online through Toast and it was simple, quick and to the point. Bagels were ready exactly when they were predicted to be and staff and store were clean friendly and adorable. Absolutely my new go to Bagel Spot. 🥯

I would probably agree these are the best bagels in Tampa. The bagel breakfast sandwich is huge with two pieces of sausage, layers of fluffy eggs, and cheese. The bagels are perfectly crisp on the outside and nice and chewy. You may even want to split one - it was almost too big to eat in one sitting! Really nice outside courtyard to sit and relax. Service was pretty quick too. Would highly recommend checking out
