Dry-aged Black Angus on an in-house milk bread bun

The chef behind Mélange and Doro Soul Food opened DaBo Burger inside the Atlas brewery on Howard Road in January 2026, and the bun is where the attention went: milk bread, baked in house, made for this burger only.

The beef is dry-aged, locally sourced Black Angus. Being inside a brewery means you can order a beer and a milkshake in the same round without anyone commenting.

mmmmm 😋😋😋 very tasty burgers! they keep the menu very simple but just enough variety i want to try them all at some point. the brewery this burger place is in has a great amount of space, def worth coming with some friends for good vibes, brews, and burgers

I’d been wanting to try Dabo Burgers after seeing so many great reviews on social media, and I was especially curious about the buttery milk buns with the sugar pearls on top. The burger did not disappoint! It was juicy, flavorful, and the bun was every bit as good as I hoped it would be. Unfortunately, the fries were a different story. They had good flavor, likely from being fried in beef tallow, but they were dry, hard, and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. I did order later in the evening, about 30 minutes before closing, so I’m wondering if that played a role. I’d be curious to try them again earlier in the day when they’re hopefully fresh. One thing worth knowing: they stop taking orders 30 minutes before closing. Thankfully, I ordered online while I was en route during my 30-minute drive. I would have been pretty frustrated to arrive 30 minutes before closing only to learn I couldn’t place an order. Personally, I’d prefer that restaurants take orders until their posted closing time, but at minimum, this is something customers should be aware of before making the trip. All that said, the burger was good enough that I’ll definitely give Dabo another try. Hopefully next time the fries will match the quality of the burger!

Best burgers in the area! The milk bun is a unique and delicious addition to the burger concept. Burger meat was juicy and absolutely phenomenal. Excellent service and cider too - Must try!
