Bạn Bè means friends, and the bar borrows its mood from Wong Kar-wai's In The Mood For Love: slow, warm, unhurried on purpose. The tree-shaded terrace out back is what regulars keep bringing up.
It sits on Lê Phụng Hiểu in the French Quarter, and it's become the spot artists and couples pick when they want a quiet corner in a city that rarely offers one.

The drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is very chill, perfect for relaxing after work. The owner is super friendly :)) and takes amazing photos too.

Absolutely love this bar! Is cozy, hidden in the middle of Hanoi, the bartender are fantastic and the owner is always happy to sit with you and chat about food in the city. Will absolutely go back next time I am in hanoi - to get another of the spicy tamarind cocktail, my personal favourite 🩵
