The Potts Point coffee shop that means business

Skip the long brunch menus. Algorithm keeps food short on purpose and lets the espresso do the talking, dialled in tighter than most Sydney cafes bother with. Broadsheet called it one of the year's best new cafes, and it's easy to see why.

Weekday mornings are manageable. Weekends run on a wait, so budget for it or come early.

I love this spot, had heard a lot about the coffee here and decided to try it this weekend. Coffee was on point and so was folded egg & chicken sando. The chilli relish is also sooo good to get with the eggs. Definitely recommend. Also the outside seating is amazing if you want to feel the city vibe.

Another amazing visit to Algorithm Café in Potts Point. We ordered the signature Rhythm, Matchapresso, Crispy Chicken & Potato Plate, and the Chicken Yakiniku Roll. Every single item was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We also discovered that Rhythm is available as a hot drink, served with a pretzel on top, which was such a fun and unique touch. What impressed us the most was the service. Even though the café was busy, every staff member was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They even took the time to show us how to enjoy the hot Rhythm properly, which made the experience feel even more special. Special shoutout to Asti!! For being super sweet and taking care of us during the visit🥺 Food, drinks, service, and ambience are all top notch. Algorithm never disappoints, and it's easy to understand why it's always so busy. Definitely one of our favourite cafés in Sydney and we'll keep coming back.

One of the best cafes I’ve ever been to! Food is amazing, they do everything so well. There coffee and matcha cold foam drinks are the best I’ve found in Sydney, especially the ‘Matchapresso’ is 10/10! A must try

The best Mont Blanc (Rhythm)!!! Food was good also, but would definitely come back for the drinks. We sat outside around 10am and were seated immediately. Very lovely servers!

I’ve been here three times and expected it to be massively overrated due to the hype surrounding it but I was definitely wrong. The food here is absolutely delicious and it’s rare that I say this but it also reasonably priced. The staff are always lovely and really attentive which gives a good feel for a cafe that is always busy. The only trouble surrounding it is that it’s always quite busy however I do enjoy the food here. I highly recommend the chorizo chilli eggs and the algo folded eggs with an iced coffee
