Wheel, paint bar and shop, all from one ceramic artist

Sirin AlMasri trained as a ceramic artist in Syria before landing in Vienna, and Zolta is her take on a pottery studio: sit at the wheel, grab a blank and paint it at the bar, or just buy something already fired. There's a coffee bar too, so nobody's rushing you out.

The third district location helps. It's the stretch of Landstraße behind Rochusmarkt, wide streets, barely any tourists, and 1950s shopfronts slowly filling with places exactly like this one.

Good to know

Painting a blank piece takes about two hours plus firing time, you collect it later, so don't leave it to your last day in town.
The studio entrance is on Viehmarktgasse; the postal address on the paperwork is Henneberggasse.

One of the best studios that I've been into 😍 the have Ceramics workshops, Ceramics painting, great coffee and a very unique Ceramics art and gift shop! Highly recommended

Wow, Great shop and work space, working, the clay workshop was amazing, also I liked painting while being served with a good coffee 🙂 is a good place to relax and make your own art work.. after thins I don't need to think what presents I should get for my friends!

Had a very very lovely and nice evening throwing pottery on the Wheel 🥰 we Booked the beginners Workshop and Sirin, the owner and Artist Took time to explain Everything very Detailed and individually for everyones Pace. We had a Lot of Fun and learned a Lot. Also the Option for the Open Studio on fridays gives you opportunity to learn and practice. The atmosphere is Great and the Studio beautiful. I recommend a visit and if it is only for a Coffe out of exceptional Beautiful cups 😍

Zolta is a great place! The prices are pretty good, there’s lots of pieces and colors to choose from, and the owner is very nice! They also have amazing service and were willing to send us our pieces to a Nordic country :) I definitely recommend this place ☺️
