Korean drinks on a downtown block full of chains

Cafe Marie brought Korean-style signature drinks to a Dunsmuir Street block that had been running on chains, taking over the old JJ Bean space. Sandwiches and baked goods followed a few months later.

It opens at 6am on weekdays, useful before almost anything else downtown is even awake.
