Cafetería Yumurí is more roadside stop than restaurant, on the road to one of the more dramatic coastlines in this part of Cuba. Light meals and seafood come with a river view, plus a swimming spot when the heat gets to be too much.
It sits near where the Yumurí River meets the sea, 35 kilometers out on the road toward Maisí. It's a natural break for anyone driving the coast to see the canyon or the river mouth.
