I discovered Katchi Restaurant & Bar while visiting a client nearby and decided to stop in for lunch. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It happened to be their first day back after a company holiday, yet everything felt relaxed, well organized, and genuinely inviting. I was greeted warmly and invited to choose any table I liked. A casually dressed young waiter immediately made me feel comfortable and recommended one of the daily specialties. I followed his suggestion and was not disappointed. The slow-cooked beef cheeks served in a fragrant curry with pickled mango and crispy onion rings were absolutely outstanding. Instead of rice, I chose sautéed vegetables, which complemented the dish perfectly. As a starter, I had baby gem lettuce with what I believe was a wasabi dressing and a crunchy topping. It was fresh, light, and full of flavor. The biggest surprise was the price. For a mineral water, the starter, and the main course, I paid around CZK 530 (about €22). In my opinion, the meal was worth considerably more, and I even mentioned this to the waiter. Another highlight is the excellent wine list. It offers a carefully selected range of wines, including outstanding German producers, Champagne, and even premium wines from the Golan Heights in Israel, which was a very pleasant surprise for a wine lover. If I am in the area again, I will definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for creative cuisine, excellent value, and a great wine selection.

Amazing restaurant is a hidden gem, with a new fabulous chef. We had the tasting menu and every mouthful was sensational. Excellent value for money. All staff are so friendly and give you a good insight into every dish. A restaurant not to be missed. Just wish it was near our home so we could visit frequently. Thank you for a wonderful night

Our first time at Katchi Restaurant was during RestaurantWeek, and it exceeded all our expectations Everything is thoughtfully put together: a stylish interior, an atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service, relaxed, but still very attentive. Every dish felt well thought out and had its own personality. We can really see that it’s not just about making food taste good, it’s about balancing flavors, textures and the whole experience. But the cashew cheesecake… that’s not just dessert. It’s a piece of art. One of those moments where you slow down, enjoy every bite, and wish it wouldn’t end.... We left feeling like it wasn’t just dinner but a whole experience. Definitely not our last visit

The 11-course menu was pehnomenal! From the welcome drink through all dishes and great service, I think this is currently the best you can get in Prague given the very reasonable price. I can only recommend and can't wait to go again once the menu rotates. All the best to you guys!
