The third Kro, baking its own bread and mixing its own drinks
Kro's Vršovice site on Moskevská is the group's third and its most complete: the rotisserie chicken is still the centre of the menu, but this kitchen also bakes sourdough on site and runs a proper bar rather than a short drinks list.
It sits on the stretch of Moskevská that has filled up with independent places over the last few years. Fermentation runs through the menu, in the sides and the house pickles as much as the bread.

I had their KRO Breakfast, it was ok but nothing mind-blowing. Otherwise I go there sometimes for coffee and really enjoy.

I was visiting Prague and just by chance ran into this place. I tried the vegetarian weekly special even though I’m not a vegetarian and I entirely loved it. Try the asparagus risotto. It’s breathtaking.

The place looks really nice inside, the staff are super friendly, and the food is pretty good overall. I’d recommend booking ahead, especially during busy hours. You’ll have to go inside to see what baked goods they have, since it’s not visible from outside. The layout can feel a bit cramped, but the minimalist design is still really stylish.
