A coffee counter built on Dominican beans

Skip the lobby coffee machine. Kawa is a real counter inside The St. Regis Cap Cana, pouring Dominican coffee alongside cacao pastries sourced closer to home than most five star hotels bother with.

It's tiny, more a stand than a cafe, and works best as a quick stop before the resort's restaurants open. The Dominican Republic exports huge amounts of coffee it rarely gets to show off locally at this level, and Kawa flips that around.
