Georgian food, plated with a European hand

The khinkali dumplings and khachapuri here get a lighter, more European touch than the classic versions usually do. Kubdari, the meat-stuffed bread, is worth ordering too. It's become Tartu's default for Georgian food, a cuisine that only existed here in scattered forms before.

Weekdays bring a daily lunch buffet alongside the a la carte menu. On weekend evenings the dining room fills fast with larger groups, so go early or book ahead. It's set in the old Tsink Plekk Pang space on Küütri tänav.
