Serious cocktail craft on the Promenade des Anglais, from two Sugaar Paris alumnae

Renée opened on the Promenade des Anglais in March 2025, run by Marusya Okuchinska and Polina Kirdoglo, both trained at the well-regarded Sugaar Paris. Rather than straightforward classics, the bar builds ingredient-driven compositions, with every element in a glass given equal attention.

The signature drink, Souvenirs, mixes Absolut Vanilla, Aperol, yogurt liqueur, tom yum syrup and prune bitters, a combination that shows how far the bar is willing to reach for flavor. Sitting right on the Promenade gives Renée one of Nice's most visible addresses for a genuinely creative cocktail list, on a stretch usually dominated by tourist-standard drinks menus.

The BEST! Our third time here (3 years in a row) and loved it every time. The best food in all of Nice and the servers are so nice and happy. Truly the best vibe and a wonderful view of the ocean and the promenade. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Renée in Nice. The location is perfect, right on the Promenade des Anglais with a beautiful waterfront setting that makes for a great atmosphere. The hostess gave us a warm welcome, and our server, Saad, was exceptional. He prepared our Parmesan truffle pasta tableside, and it was not only beautifully presented but also one of the best pasta dishes we've ever had. His attention to detail and friendly service made the experience even more memorable. From the outstanding food to the excellent hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Renée to anyone visiting Nice!

We just had drinks here and it was very pleasant. Staff was polite and welcoming. It was not crowded so I believe reservation is not needed. Place is maintained very well.

One of the top three meals we’ve ever had anywhere! The food was absolutely incredible and great local wines. Highly recommend for your Mediterranean food stop on your visit to Nice!
