Marie-Antoinette glamour behind a hidden terrace door
Behind an unmarked door near the Golden Triangle sits a terrace nobody can see from the street. Frivole leans hard into Marie-Antoinette: heavy velvet and 18th-century detail, not the usual luxury-hotel polish.
Chartreuse ambassador Rémy runs the bar, building cocktails meant to tell a small story rather than just get poured. Food leans contemporary French, and both kitchen and bar run nightly until 2am in the 8th.

Nice place. Enjoyed rhe food. We sat in the garden which is a peaceful oasis at the back. The restaurant is inside the hotel of the same name which I didn't know when I booked it.

Mushroom risotto c’est magnifique. We really wanted a salad and, even though it wasn’t on the menu, they did it for us. Lovely spot!
