A Vietnamese canteen built entirely on a grandmother's recipes

BẾP means kitchen in Vietnamese, and that's exactly the point: siblings Marie and Antoine Nguyen cook straight from their grandmother's recipes and their own memories of childhood summers in southern Vietnam. Nothing pan-Asian about it, no broader Asian-fusion angle.

Antoine runs the kitchen, layering southern Vietnamese cooking with the French technique the siblings picked up through training. It's the new project from the team behind Sobremesa in the 18th. Expect a fast, casual canteen rather than a sit-down restaurant.
