The Dean Berlin

An Irish hotel restaurant built for people who aren't staying
Benedict, the all-day restaurant The Dean group runs in its Irish hotels, occupies the ground floor here too, serving from early breakfast through dinner and worth booking even if you're not upstairs. The Dean's first house outside Ireland sits a block off the Kurfürstendamm in a historic building.
Rachael Gowdridge designed the 81 rooms in reds, greens and pinks with art on every wall, nothing like the older hotels around it in Charlottenburg.
Good to know
- Benedict, the ground-floor restaurant, serves from early morning until late and takes walk-ins.
- Uhlandstraße U-Bahn is on the doorstep and the Ku'damm shops are a two-minute walk.

What a dream stay! From beautiful balcony views & a stylish comfortable and peaceful room that I did not want to leave to delicious breakfasts at Benedicts and melt in your mouth pastries. Warm & welcoming staff, a chill atmosphere and the perfect Saturday night selections. Oh & the teas are so FRESH - a real niiiice touch. I will be back. Thank you <3.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Every staff member we talked to were so lovely and helpful, which you don't get everywhere. The food is amazing and the room was lovely and very clean.

We stayed here for three nights. The rooms are new and chic. The windows open for fresh air. The air conditioning will only work if the windows are closed. The bathroom could use towel hooks beside the shower. The radio in the room has good sound quality and I enjoyed listening to the local radio. The TV did not have AirPlay capabilities. The downside of our room was the window into the room from the bathroom. The room would light up with the bathroom light. There is also no privacy, just a note for new couples. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. One of the reviews mentions a gym. There is no gym or fitness room. Highly recommend getting breakfast downstairs at least once. It is busy there every morning.

Everything was perfect ! The team was super friendly, the room, the common spaces were very comfortable and clean. Just one minor criticism of Sophie’s restaurant. There were quite a few dishes missing and the tomatoes weren’t ripe at all. But the staff were very attentive. A big thank you to the whole sports team for their kindness and service by the pool.
