A foosball-and-pool bar bringing back a Neustadt corner classic
Aline and Benji opened Zur Stube on Osterstraße, just off Neustadt's Red Cross hospital, on 21 February 2026. The space spent years as an arcade before they gutted it and rebuilt it as a proper Kneipe: a real bar, a foosball table, a pool table, and old furniture restored instead of tossed. New floors, fresh paint, same bones.
For regulars in the neighborhood, the room echoes a cult bar that closed on the same corner years ago. Opening night ran on one-euro shots and a rotating lineup of DJs.

The restrooms are very clean and modern. I must say it's surprising how many facilities are hidden behind the door. It was a truly pleasant surprise. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant. The service was friendly and the drinks were strong.
