Fill a bag, pay by the kilo, not by the piece

Forget checking price tags. At Luebeck's first kilo store, you grab a bag, stuff it with secondhand and vintage finds, and pay for the weight instead of each item. It turns thrifting into a bit of a sport.

The concept is a fixture in bigger German cities but brand new here, and it landed on Breite Strasse right as other resale shops popped up along the same stretch. Worth a slow lap through the racks before you commit to what goes in the bag.
