The supermarket ice cream brand finally gets its own cafe

Elvis Eis supplies ice cream to around 700 supermarkets across Germany, but this Koenigstrasse spot is its own storefront. It opened February 1, 2025, in the space Eiscafe Venezia held for nearly 70 years before closing.

Instead of a straightforward scoop counter, the room leans into coffeehouse styling. Worth a stop if you want to taste the brand behind the tubs without the supermarket detour.

Moderate range of choices with very nice presentation. Sometimes a bit too sweet. This is a German understanding of Gelato. However, why no Pistazien? Every respected Eiscafé has it. But still, 5 stars.

Went here for breakfast and was duly impressed . We had the €30 breakfast platter , which seemed a little pricey until it all arrived . Split between two people , 6 brötchen , 2 croissants, 2 pots of yoghurt fruit and oats , cut fresh fruit , smoked salmon , smoked ham , goats cheese , boild eggs ,tomato and fresh mozzarella drizzled in pesto ( nice touch ! ) , Italian cappuccino, orange juice and prosecco with a blueberry . I may have missed stuff ! The staff were very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very chilled . I'd highly recommend this place :)
