Bring your own containers and fill up on package-free staples, then grab a loaf of sourdough on the way out. Kardamom rebranded from Luebeck's old unpackaged shop into a mini market hall, and the bakery is the best addition.

It sits on Fleischhauerstrasse near Cycle Roasters and Room55, so it's an easy add to a coffee run. Come for bread and pantry basics, not a full grocery haul.

Had the most wonderful breakfast at Kardamom this morning. We shared their breakfast board for two: a beautiful spread of dips and toppings (hummus, sauerkraut, chive spread, nougat cream, honey, and many more) alongside a small but well-chosen selection of cheese and tofu, that was honestly next level. Everything came with two slices of sourdough, two sourdough rolls, and a croissant, all baked in-house. Every single thing on the table was simply delicious, that kind of food that makes your mind go silent because there is only space to focus on how good the taste is. The owners were incredibly warm and kind. Beyond the food, Kardamom is a lovely little zero-waste shop, and you can tell how much care goes into everything they do. Highly recommend if you're in Lübeck and want a breakfast that's as thoughtful as it is tasty. The only negative side, is that they are far away from where I live otherwise this would definitely become a weekly stop for me! Thank you for everything and keep up the amazing and thoughtful work!

We had breakfast at Kardamom for the first time today and shared a meal. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and peaceful. The lovingly prepared breakfast was explained to us in detail, and it tasted delicious. There was a great selection of various vegetarian and vegan options on our plates. The sauerkraut, in particular, was fantastic (I don't usually like it at all). We felt very comfortable and are looking forward to our next visit.
