Paint your own ceramics on the Hüxstraße

Pick a blank mug, bowl or figurine, grab a brush, and make something you actually want to keep. Malhafen fires and finishes every piece after you paint it, so you just walk in, sit down and get going.

We went to Malhafen Ceramics today with some friends and we were absolutely thrilled! The studio is beautifully decorated and truly invites you to spend a few relaxing and creative hours. The selection of ceramics and paints is huge, so there's something for everyone. The team was consistently friendly and helpful, and they were always there to answer our questions. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to picking up our finished ceramics soon. We'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

It was really fun to be able to experiment. The price of the ceramic blanks isn't exactly cheap, but when you consider that it keeps you busy for 2.5 hours, includes high-quality paints (including glitter paints, etc.), and lots of accessories like stamps, stickers, and much more, and that glazing and firing are included, it becomes more reasonable. I'm excited to see the finished product, which I can pick up about three weeks after our appointment. The shop was almost a bit too crowded, by the way.

I booked an appointment there with a friend as a Christmas present. A few days ago, I was able to pick up the finished bowl. You can really let your creativity flow, and the prices aren't high for what you get. I would have liked another 30-60 minutes instead of the two hours.
