The neighborhood bar named after its address in St. Johannis

Bar Sieben opened on Helmstraße on 9 May 2026, taking over a space that had been home to the Andalusischer Hund for more than two decades.

Owner Florian Körber renovated the address end to end and calls it a low-threshold meeting point for St. Johannis. Some prices dropped up to 20 percent compared with the previous tenant, and the bar opens early on weekends for coffee and an aperitif.
