Retro bar on Kiafas that looks older than it is

Bar Ideal is dressed to look like it's been on Kiafas since the 1970s, even though it just landed. The drinks are straightforward, the prices are Exarchia prices, and nobody here is doing clarified anything.

Kiafas connects Exarchia to the Kolonaki side, so the crowd is a genuine mix of both. Show up late, not early.

What a wicked spot. Cool vibe with everyone spilling out onto the alleyway. Good drinks and DJ inside, great place to go for a fun night out.

We stopped by Bar Ideal only for coffee, but it was a pleasant experience. The service was good, and sitting outside was especially nice because there was a refreshing breeze on the hot days in Athens. Overall, it’s a nice place for a quick coffee break if you want friendly service and a comfortable outdoor spot.

Delicious cocktails, the atmosphere is such that no one is in a hurry, which is great for a bar. The only thing is, the guy who served us wasn't very happy

Great atmosphere for a drink and decently priced. Good music and aesthetically appealing design. Does close abruptly, so make sure you get there at peak.
