The all-day kafeneio on Damareos

Coffee in the morning, plates from lunch, drinks once the sun's down. Flaros takes the old kafeneio idea and stretches it across the whole day, on the quieter spine of upper Pangrati where apartment blocks outnumber shops.

The location is the draw. It fills with people who live a few streets over rather than anyone who crossed town for it, and the prices show it.

Staying in Athens for a few months and went to some good restaurants so far… this one is by far at the top of the list - wine,food,service,the restaurant itself… just so so good! If you are in Athens and don’t go it’s your own fault

Great and relaxed corner with a few and fantastic plates. Service adorable. Ask for the daily dishes. You will get surprised.

had a good experience at Flaros. The food was tasty overall. The only thing I would suggest is using a bit less olive oil on the naan , pita and the bread. On the downside, I found it quite expensive for what you get in terms of the product, the space, and the service. The venue itself could also use a bit more attention.
