Fresh doughnuts, bagels and a famous 1,500 kr deal
Deig shares its Tryggvagata address with Le Kock and turns out fresh-fried doughnuts, crème brûlée and vanilla-cruller among them, plus New York-style bagels. Its filled-bagel-doughnut-and-drink combo at around 1,500 kr is a long-standing best-value pick.
It's a fast counter operation, good for breakfast or a cheap lunch. The doughnuts are best earlier in the day.

Hearty breakfast and atmosphere! The bagel sandwiches were great - my 'Churchill' bagel was absolutely stuffed with ham, egg, and cheese and tasted great. The atmosphere is cool - blackboard with chalk, the walls are covered in quirky stickers, and the soundtrack is Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. I loved it here!

We tried two of their bagel sandwitches for breakfast and they were delicious! It's not too far from the harbor so it's a great choice for a meal before your whale/puffin watching tour or a stroll by the harbor.

This is a top-notch spot for a bagel or bagel sandwich. Terrific options, several bagel flavors. I particularly liked the Madonna, which is egg, cheese, roasted red pepper. Ended up here twice in my 3-day visit.

A great place to grab a bagel before heading off to bus stop #4 for a tour. Food: 5/5 they offer a few types of bagel plus various fillings or different types of cream cheese. I had a warm Parmesan cheese bagel with cream cheese. Fresh and tasty. If you're into donuts, they got that too. Service: 4/5 friendly service. They open at 7 am Atmosphere: 4/5 they're next to a bar/restaurant

Excellent and iconic bagel and donut shop. Phil would agree. Everything was excellent, but not to beat a tourist dead horse...very expensive. Donut, iced coffee and two bagel sandwiches were $58. I wished Netflix was buying...😂
