It's a straightforward late-afternoon-to-evening spot, open daily from four. Less cocktail-bar theater, more casual beer-and-a-bite than the scene that's grown up around it on the same stretch of Frakkastígur.

The New Sandwich Queen in town :) Some of the best sandwiches in 101 Reykjavík and good selection of Beers you do not see at many places, like Mikkeller and more. They open st 16:00 and Happy Hour is from 16-19 with the best! Chilled 0,5L glass of Heineken at 790 (june 2026), Craft beers around 1190 to 1390. I had the Roast Beef sandwich and highly recommend, they actually where out of Roast beef so it came with Tender loin, wow can we keep this on the menu please ;) Sandwiches are on offer with Beer at 3.490! At time of writing June 2026. Only downside is that this is a very small place and seating could be better. Edit: on my 3rd visit, it is small but cozy really nice atmosphere 4 stars :) Service was great with the manager there explaining everything, thank you :) Edit: 2nd visit had the same Tenderloin beef Sandwich again... still 5 stars. Thank you :) Edit: 3rd visit wow that Sandwich, it is so good :)

I had the best grilled cheese ever here and a few different Mikkeller beers. It’s the best place to stop in as a tourist and feel like you’re having a genuine local experience. Not touristy, but tourist friendly. Great drink list and menu, free wifi.

It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or to catch up with friends over a casual bite. High-quality cheeses and perfectly toasted bread. Paired with a cold beer, it’s a match made in heaven. Delicious food & beer & good vibes. Would go again.
