Snorrabar wants to be your local, not your destination. That is a strange pitch in a city where most bars chase the Laugavegur crowd, but it works here.

The bar sits at the hostel end of Snorrabraut, south of Hlemmur. Prices run lower than downtown and the room fills with people who live within a few blocks.
