All-vegetarian pan-Asian, done properly, not bolted on

Most pan-Asian spots in Surat mean a generic menu with a few sushi rolls thrown in. Sansai actually commits: Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai dishes, all vegetarian, in a fine-dining room next to Iscon Mall in Piplod.

It opened in 2025 and picked up Debutant Restaurant of the Year from Restaurant India that same year. The vegetarian-only format is a smart read on Surat's Jain and Gujarati dining crowd, and it's rare to find this range done without meat as an afterthought.
