Tek Tek is a ten seat restaurant inside SALT of Palmar, opened at the end of July 2025 as the hotel's take on comfort food, built entirely around Mauritian recipes instead of the international menu most resorts default to. The name comes from a local expression, and the kitchen uses it as a chance to bring back the dishes guests grew up on rather than reinvent them.

Ten seats means it books out fast, and it runs as a set dining experience rather than an à la carte menu, so check with the hotel on format before you turn up expecting to order individual plates. It sits inside an adults only, design focused hotel, so the crowd is mostly guests staying on site.
