Egyptian and Arab flavours with an all-you-can-eat buffet every Friday and Saturday.

Arabesque opened on Royal Road in November 2024, bringing Egyptian and Arab cooking to a town better known for Chinese canteens and creole grills. Egyptian chefs run the kitchen, and the menu changes weekly instead of settling into the usual hummus-and-kebab rotation.

The real reason to book is the Friday and Saturday buffet: Rs 850 for adults, Rs 400 for kids, starting at 6:30pm, an eat-all-you-can spread of Middle Eastern starters, mains and desserts. Arabesque took the first floor opposite the old Sunshield Centre, a spot Curepipe didn't really have before.

I came with my daughter and we had their meals for the first time. It was absolutely pleasant and appetising. Lokendra's service was top-notch and a really kind-hearted man. We got free dessert. Totally recommended the place!

We came here for the third time and the buffet was amazing.. lots of choices and the meats (chicken and meat) are very well cooked and soft, i was amazed!! The Quatre Bornes place was much nicer though.. miss the place! Lokendra hosted us very well! Bon appetit :)

This restautant has got amazing staffs. My family and I were there on Sunday, sept 28th 2025 for buffet and it was simply awesome. I didn't ask the name of the person who assisted us and made sure we have a memorable birthday for my child but this person has made sure that I was properly served since I am a vegetarian. Each of my request was fulfilled and I couldn't ask for more. My guests loved the food and the warm welcome. Value for money. I highly recommend to those who want to feel blessed because you get food everywhere but it's rare to find staffs who always have a smile on their faceq1

Overall a very good experience 8.5/10. Had open buffet dinner tonight. Excellent service and most of the food were excellent,specially the falafel,lamb bechamel and chicken. Tasty food apart from the humus which lack some taste and too much chicken bones. Desert was excellent. Continue with the good deals and buffet. The atmosphere was warmth and comfy. Will come again.
