One of Chefchaouen's only real cocktail bars.

The Taj Chefchaouen Luxury Hotel and Spa opened in November 2024, a 20-room hotel built into the hillside above the medina. There's an indoor pool and a small gallery of local Chaouni artists' work on the ground floor.

The rooftop bar is worth the trip even if you're not sleeping there: live music some nights, proper cocktails, and one of the only real bar setups in a town where most restaurants can't serve alcohol with dinner. The restaurant downstairs sticks to Moroccan food, no booze, so head upstairs for a drink.
