Open-fire classics and vinyl for the 30-plus crowd in De Pijp

Juno says out loud what most restaurants only think: it would rather seat the 30-something who leaves the phone in a pocket than chase the hype crowd. The kitchen cooks classics with a contemporary twist over open fire while records spin, in a room designed by Anne Claus.

Sundays are looser, with a special menu the chefs use to cut loose. It landed on the Frans Halsstraat in De Pijp in 2025, with a Saturday lunch starting at one.

Food is really good. Could have been closer to 5 stars but they have to be greedy and charge 12 euro for bottle of tap water, without even saying it cost money… in general it’s a bit over expensive. Also a bit too loud cause of poor acoustics.

I was visiting Amsterdam and looking for a sheek dinner spot and Juno did not disappoint! Our waiters were Liv and Appie and they were so friendly!! We loved the service, the plates and wine they recommended, and they even gave us some other recommendations for what to do in the city. The food and flavours were insane. Will def recommend to all my friends in Amsterdam

My partner and I are big food people, and this is easily the best restaurant we have eaten at!!! The steak was phenomenal & the staff were very attentive. Loved the wine too!! Will be back soon 😍

Juno felt less like a place to stay and more like a place to be. From the moment we arrived, everything flowed effortlessly warm, calm, and quietly beautiful. The space invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and actually enjoy where you are. Every detail felt considered, every corner had character, and there was an ease to the experience that stayed with us long after we left. From start to finish, it was simply wonderful one of those rare places that becomes part of the memory of the trip itself.

Great ambience and service! Food is deliciously cooked open fire place. Great selection of wines too! My fav was the pork and chicken from main dish AND the bread and portobello mushrooms 🤩
