Had an almond croissant, a madeleine and a cinnamon bun to go, I didn’t take pictures of them, but they were just like what other posts in the Google map, croissant is buttery and the almond sauce inside is not too heavy nor too sweet and yields the right amounts of flavor of almond, cinnamon bun is soft and looks cute, and the madeleine has very balanced butter and lemon flavor. I would go back for croissants and madeleine again in the future. The flat white is also good to try.

The lekkerste Pain Suisse of the whole of Amsterdam. You cannot miss a cappuccino with ROA oatmilk either. If you go in the morning it's sunny!

I really want to like this neighborhood bakery especially since it is right around the corner but besides solid bread, the combo of strange attitude of the staff (hard to call hipster; rather, unhappy?) combined with heavy pastries (where is the fluffy, light, buttery lamination?), olaf leaves a lot to yearn for. Hope that one day what you get will justify the long lines. Still waiting...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If there were a definition of perfection in pastry form, this bakery in Amsterdam would be it. The butter croissants are beautifully flaky, golden, and impossibly light. The cheese croissants just perfect. Their bread selection is just as impressive: crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside — the kind of bread that makes you want to skip the toppings and enjoy it as it is. And the cappuccino? Simply the best I’ve ever had. It’s a place that genuinely loves what it does.
