Sourdough at the long table, Limburg's first branch

Grab a spot at the communal table and watch the sourdough bread come out of the kitchen at what the trade calls Maastricht's first Le Pain Quotidien. It landed on the Stationsstraat in September 2025, in the corner spot that used to be Brasserie Flo.

Henri Hochstenbag of De Vogelstruys backed it, and Taco van der Bijl, once landlord of café de Bòbbel, runs the floor. The building doubles as the Leonardo Boutique Hotel, whose guests eat breakfast from this same kitchen.

Just a short walk from the train station, it's perfect for a coffee or breakfast before starting your city tour. Great location and a pleasant atmosphere.

Perfect place, the staff is super friendly, the prices are surprisingly not super expensive. The matcha latte could be better, but that's usually hard to find someone who do it well. But the food overall is really good and the terrace is super nice (I love the croissant!)

Amazing experience at Le Pain Quotidien. The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended
