Acai bowls on the Kleine Staat, Limburg's first Oakberry

Frozen acai blended thick and piled with toppings, or the same thing sipped as a smoothie if you're in a hurry. That's the whole menu at this Brazilian chain, and it's reason enough to detour off the Vrijthof.

This is Oakberry's first Limburg address, landing on the Kleine Staat after Möge Tee opened two branches and The Matcha Society moved in nearby. The short shopping street already gets busy on a Saturday, so expect the queue to spill onto the pavement.

Nice and clean place with a fresh berry acai vibe. The self-ordering system and card payment make everything easy, and the young staff are very energetic and friendly. The only drawback is that the price is a little high for the small portion. Still, the drinks are delicious, healthy, and made with fresh fruits. Worth trying if you’re curious — I wonder how it will be in winter!

Very good experience. The bowl was delicious and you can tell they take care with every order. The staff were great, friendly and always smiling. I will definitely come back.

Since this place opened 3 weeks ago, I’ve been here multiple times. Every time the açaí is of top quality and the employees are very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend to everyone!
