Coffee, matcha and kitchen finds in one room on the Rechtstraat

Half the room is a counter pouring specialty coffee, matcha and pastry. The other half is shelves of cookbooks, ceramics and kitchen things you can actually buy and take home.

It sits in a former clothing shop on the Rechtstraat, Wyck's low-rise strip of independent shops with no chains in sight. Closed Tuesdays, and it shuts by late afternoon, so go for a morning coffee, not a dinner plan.

Such a lovely little gem and one of those places I always make sure to visit when I’m in Maastricht! The coffee is great and I love that they keep coming up with creative seasonal drinks. The food is delicious too, everything is fresh and high quality. You can tell that everything is made with love and care :)

Very nice little coffee place. The flat white with oat milk was great and the almond pain au chocolat was to die for! The staff was super friendly and I liked the whole athmosphere, which made me feel very comfortable, although I was on my own. I would definitely come back whenever I am in Maastricht.

Studio Nosh is a small place with a lot of character. Cozy atmosphere, great vibe and definitely worth visiting.

I visited this café with two friends for brunch on a Sunday morning at around 9:45. When we arrived, the only two proper tables were already occupied, so we had to sit on the small white stools instead. Unfortunately, the seating was quite uncomfortable and placed far too close to the other customers. We ordered a strawberry matcha, a cappuccino, two portions of Turkish eggs, and two brownies, for a total of around €50. While we were waiting, it was already noticeable that the bread had been burnt and the eggs were overcooked, as shown in the photos. When our order arrived, the sweet items were served together on a single tray, without even napkins, despite being for more than one person. In addition, the stool was so small that it could barely hold two plates, and the waitress even suggested placing one of them on the seat, which I found quite unacceptable. Although the food itself had some good flavours, the overall experience was not pleasant. In my view, this is a typical example of a trendy but overpriced place where aesthetics take priority over customer comfort and care. Regrettably, I would not recommend it.
