Sourdough and croissants on the Azaleaplein

The kiosk that sat empty all winter is finally baking. Birdflower's second address, a stall on the Azaleaplein, turns out the same sourdough loaves, croissants and viennoiserie as the original Weimarstraat bakery, all from their own oven.

Permits took more than eight months to clear, so the neighbourhood watched and waited. The first month ran weekends only, Saturday and Sunday.
