Mediterranean wine and cocktails by Nytorget

Skip the craft beer for once. Palmen Bar pours wine, cocktails and coffee in a warm, close room on the ground floor at Pedersgata 6, right on the edge of Nytorget, and the whole thing leans French and Italian café rather than Stavanger's usual script.

Nytorget is mid-rebuild into a public square through 2026. Once the dust settles, Palmen plans a bigger terrace, joining neighbours like Zouq on the square.

A new bar on Pedersgada, very friendly venue with a good vibe. Great selection of drinks we've been here twice. Nicely decorated with outside seating area. Well worth a visit 👍
