The anchor bar of the painted street
Bøker og Børst means books and booze, and it's the bar that helped turn Øvre Holmegate into Fargegata, the street painted in every color you can name. Secondhand books line the walls, and the back door opens onto one of the best courtyards in Stavanger for a summer pint.
Beer and easy company are the whole point here, drawing a broad crowd from students to grandparents through the week.

Vibes. This coffee shop absolutely brings the cool, hip vibes and we loved every minute of it. From the delicious coffee to their amazing Basque cheesecake (get it if they have it as it was as advertised - best we've ever had), you will feel comfortable and relaxed while enjoying the ambiance they have set. Nice job to them.

Popped in for coffee and cake while cruising on The Iona with P&O. Staff were so friendly, and the cafe vibe was fantastic, as was the food and drink. Loved this place. (Matt & Helen. Devon. England). X

best chai lattes in town. went one time in the morning and it was nice atmosphere and good lattes. tried to go in the evening maybe 7pm for coffee and got ID’d and you had to be over 20 to go in so. if you’re under 20 go in the morning.
