One of Norway's deepest beer selections

Cardinal has built one of the largest beer selections in the country, hundreds of bottles and a long line of taps in a pub in the Skagen quarter. Regulars and beer travellers work their way through a list that ranges far beyond the usual.

The staff know the range and can steer a choice through it. For anyone serious about beer, it is a Stavanger institution.

Absolute must visit whilst in Stavanger, to sample real local brews in a traditional setting, recently celebrating 40 tears this small but very popular traditional pub served local and imported beers. We didn't eat anything but the planke of beers were excellent.

We're here for a beer tasting from a cruise ship. A fantastic pub, with a good selection of locally brewed beers.

I have to leave a review of this pub, I can not comment on atmosphere, as It was just me in there. I ordered a bottle of cider. (Small) It was £11. The barman filled the glass with ice. so was only half full. I asked him to remove the ice and fill it up, with another bottle, which he did. I worked it out. For a pint of cider, it would cost around £22 . I only had one drink LOL It was strange that i was the only person in the bar, In the port, was a cruise ship that carried 6000 holiday makers.
