A sports bar with a California streak, on the old Korvetten site

Big screens, long hours and a laid-back drinking crowd: California Bar is what happens when someone who lived in California takes over one of Stavanger's oldest pub addresses. Øyvind Sørensen swapped Korvetten's quiet neighborhood feel for sports broadcasts and a daily 10am to 2am rhythm.

There's no food menu or cocktail list to speak of here. It's built for watching games with a beer in hand, all day, on Nedre Strandgate.
