A Santurce bar built on Puerto Rican spirits
Colmena started as bartender Jorge Buch's project out of rural Caimito, and it's since been named an official bar of Puerto Rico Cocktail Week. The cocktails run entirely on local spirits, and the names give away the loyalties: Mango Bajito, Santurce Way.
Ask about a drink and the staff will actually tell you its story. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm.

The food is amazing. We got a platano soup that was so delicious. The ceviche was spicy and fresh. The drinks are great (strong). The bathroom is cutesy - the entire space is beautiful. Good vibes all around!
