The old Señor Frog's by the Old San Juan piers now pours house-brewed craft beer instead of frozen daiquiris. It's a swap that feels like a statement, and the food menu still works for kids.

Big screens run sports, and live music kicks in when the cruise ships are docked. Solid first beer off the boat, or a last one before the walk home.

Ocean Lab's 3rd destination, right in the heart of Viejo San Juan! Doesn't have the beachfront views of the Isla Verde location (my fav) or the local hangout vibes of the Plaza San Patricio location, but they have the same amazing brews, the same delicious menu, the same awesome merch, and the same excellent service! Plus, if you are cruising info San Juan, it is literally across the street from the cruise terminal!

Group of us only ordered drinks. Place was spacious and service was great. There’s a nice sized gift shop for souvenirs. Large open area with high tops and bar seating. Prices were close to mainland prices. Flights were organized. Beer tasted amazing. I ordered the fruity flight.

We spent our last night in Old San Juan and were super excited to see that Ocean Lab Brewing was right across the street! Hubby was in heaven! We have visited their Isla Verde location a while ago and loved it! Now, the OSJ makes us even happier! The beers were exceptional, per my personal home brewer, and I enjoyed my mojitos! The food reflects passion! The empanadas were tasty, and the octopus... oh my! Can't wait to come back! Shoutout to Antonio, who treated us like family!

Ocean Lab Brewing in Old San Juan was the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and catch a World Cup match. We visited while Spain and Belgium were playing, and the place was packed with excited fans. Despite the large crowd, the staff did an outstanding job…they stayed friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. The craft beer selection is excellent, and if you’re not sure what to order, they’ll gladly let you sample the many beers on tap until you find your favorite. The food was just as impressive. The guava BBQ wings were meaty, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, a must-order if you’re there. Whether you’re looking for quality craft beer, great food, or a lively atmosphere to watch a match, Ocean Lab Brewing is a fantastic stop in Old San Juan. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Puerto Rico.

Ocean Lab was one of our favorite stops in Old San Juan! Great atmosphere, excellent craft beers, delicious food, and outstanding service. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Thank you, Gabriel for making our visit so enjoyable. We can't wait to come back and try even more!
