Precision cakes on the Corniche, built to be photographed
Cake is the whole point here. Millie's Cake Shop spun out of The Ned Doha's Millie's Lounge as its own standalone patisserie, run by the hotel's executive pastry team, with layered, seasonal cakes engineered to look as good in a photo as they taste.
It sits inside The Ned's dining cluster along the Corniche, open from mid-morning through late evening.

From the moment we walked into Millie’s, it felt like one of those places you immediately know you’ll want to return to. We stopped in for a quick snack and coffee, and everything was excellent. The hummus was fresh and flavourful, the fried halloumi was perfectly cooked, and our coffees were just what we needed. What really elevated the experience was the service. Annie was incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere at the Ned is stunning, and Millie’s has a charm all its own. The décor is beautiful, the space feels welcoming and elegant, and it’s the kind of restaurant where you can easily lose track of time. This visit left such a positive impression that I can’t wait to come back and explore the other restaurants throughout The Ned Doha. Millie’s is a special spot and one I would happily recommend to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a wonderful setting.
