Peruvian ceviche and pisco at W Doha
West Bay finally has a proper Peruvian address. Coya's ceviche and anticuchos come off a menu proven in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with a pisco bar that keeps pouring after the kitchen slows down.
Friday brunch, noon to 4pm, is the loud version of the room. Dinner service is calmer, closer to a proper sit-down restaurant.

Food was unbelievably tasty, we got the ribs, seabass, the ribeye wagyu I believe and the guacamole and everything was cooked to perfection and they even made the guac at our table

Coya was overall amazing dining experience, the restaurant atmosphere was casual and made us feel comfortable and the service was amazing. Special mention to our waitress, May, who genuinely elevated the whole meal. She knew the menu inside out, made thoughtful recommendations, and shared information on the restaurant and the dishes. She even surprised us with a gift platter alongside dessert!!! My favorite dishes were the potatoes churros which were a highlight for me since it seemed so perfectly made with crisp edges and an airy soft interior. The sea bream was special as well, definitely one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had!

First time trying Peruvian cuisine and it couldn't have been better. Every dish was delicious, unique, and memorable. The Michelin recognition is absolutely deserved. Must try! 10/10

We had a lovely lunch at Coya and the staff were very welcoming. Rachel and Esther helped in choosing our drinks and food.

Located in W Hotel, Coya is an authentic Peruvian restaurant that has been featured in the Michelin Guide. The interior is beautifully designed with exotic decor, and there are also comfortable lounge-style seating areas that add to the sophisticated atmosphere. Upon arrival, Ms.May warmly welcomed me and took the time to explain both the drink and food menus. The signature cocktail menu was particularly impressive, with a design that instantly brought back memories of Peru. As expected from a luxury hotel, even the restroom amenities reflected a high standard. The products provided were from Molton Brown, a well-known luxury brand, which added an extra touch of sophistication to the overall experience. For starters, I ordered the Pardon peppers. Although they looked quite spicy, they were surprisingly mild and very enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was the Mushroom Rice Hot Pot. As soon as the lid was lifted, a rich mushroom aroma filled the air. The combination of rice, mushrooms, and sauce was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. To finish, I had the churros for dessert. Served with a chocolate dipping sauce, they were the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and a unique atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience.
