Khachapuri and generous Georgian portions on Sevastopol

Come hungry. The khachapuri arrives with its egg-and-cheese crater still bubbling, and the khinkali dumplings are meant to be eaten by hand, gripped by the topknot.

Georgian food is still catching on in Bucharest, and Tbiliso plays it both authentic and generous: rich stews, portions built for a Georgian table, not a light lunch. Order the adjaruli and skip dinner.

We had a really enjoyable meal at Tbiliso! After travelling through Georgia many years back, we wanted to remind ourselves of the delicious foods we ate whilst on that trip. Tbiliso did not disappoint! It was authentic, delicious Georgian food and wine. Service was attentive and polite too. A must visit in Bucharest.

If comfort had a flavor, it would taste like dinner at Tbiliso Restaurant. From the moment the food arrived, it felt less like a restaurant experience and more like being welcomed into someone’s home — if that someone happened to be a culinary genius. Every detail was unforgettable: the warm fresh bread, the bubbling cheese-filled khachapuri, and the perfectly balanced tea that somehow made the entire meal feel even more soulful. The star of the evening was the chicken livers with cream and pomegranate — unbelievably tender, rich, and packed with flavor. The silky sauce coated every bite perfectly, while the pomegranate seeds added a beautiful touch of freshness and sweetness that elevated the entire dish. It’s the kind of meal that makes the whole table go quiet for a moment because everyone is too busy enjoying every bite. And then there’s the atmosphere. Elegant without trying too hard. Cozy without feeling crowded. The kind of place where time slows down and conversations naturally last longer. Even the presentation felt artistic — a beautiful blend of rustic Georgian tradition and modern refinement. What makes Tbiliso special isn’t just the food. It’s the feeling. The feeling that someone genuinely cares about what lands on your table. In a world full of trendy restaurants chasing aesthetics, Tbiliso delivers something rare: authenticity, warmth, and unforgettable flavor. This wasn’t just dinner. It was an experience I’ll remember for a very long time. 10/10 — a hidden gem of Georgian cuisine.

Really amazing Georgian restaurant outside of the city centre, worth it to go! Reasonably priced, nice and helpful staff, amazing food, really an all-round recommended restaurant! The Lamb Khinkali were out of this world, as well as the Beef Tongue Salad, also insanely good. It's €3/4 with an uber from the city centre, so you should 100% go!

We visited this place with friends and were very satisfied — I can confidently recommend it. First of all, I would like to highlight the excellent work of the staff: we were warmly welcomed at the entrance, assisted with our outerwear, and then shown to our table. The place itself is very cozy and comfortable, and time there flies by unnoticed. There were four adults and one child in our group — we tried many dishes, and absolutely everything we ordered was delicious. What’s more, we didn’t have to wait long for our food after placing the order, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would also like to mention the red dry house wine — it was truly excellent. Overall, it’s a great place that is definitely worth visiting. I recommend booking a table in advance.

I happened to pass by this restaurant and looked for reviews about it. What I read convinced me to go in for a late breakfast. I really liked the pomegranate and raspberry tea, although I would have liked it not to be sweetened. The Hinkali with cheese mix were delicious and light, the 5-cheese Haciapuri was delicious, but the lamb kebab seemed a little dry to me. The dessert idea was interesting, but a little more flavor in the sauce would have been nice. The interaction with the staff was positive from the entrance to the exit. They were very friendly, attentive, smiling, and I particularly liked the music. Great job guys!
