No plates, no fuss. La Viñera serves chacinas, tinned conservas and montaditos straight on estraza paper, the way the barrio has always done it.

It sits among some of La Viña's oldest bars without trying to outshine them, and that restraint is the whole point. Order at the bar, grab a stool if one's free, and stick to wine, beer and good cured ham.

Without a doubt, the best part of my dining experience at La Taberna La Viñera was the attention, courtesy, kindness, and charisma shown by its staff; Yoli and Ángel are wonderful people, and their way of working with customers is magnificent. I'm sure that every time I go to Cádiz (which I do a lot, a whole lot!), it will be a place I return to! It's such a pleasure to encounter such people and professionals in life! 🫶🏻💜 P.S.: And it's a tavern in Cádiz, Cádiz, where I can always hear CARNIVAL music, which is my second passion after Cádiz itself!

Such a lovely bar, great atmosphere and food. The super waiter was so patient with our limited spanish. Highly recommended.
