3,000 square meters of street food on Malmö's waterfront
Cantin opened on May 20, 2026, in Varvsstaden: a 3,000-square-meter street-food park built from shipping containers and mobile kitchens right on the water. Think Copenhagen's Reffen, Amsterdam's NDSM, or London's Boxpark, but on Malmö's harbor.
Five vendors launched with it, serving Japanese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Argentine, and Italian food. The park runs seasonally, open about six months a year.

A great place to go. Great atmosphere and choice. One warning though. I was disappointed with the offering from Jeffrey's. Photos show a nice sized portion, but reality is you get half this with equivalent size of a half piece of bread. Not great for the cost sadly (£23 or 288 SEK for 2 portions with one can soft drink).

Great addition to Malmö. Had an arepa from Arepazo, massively tasty, and the selection of food from around the world is impressive. Good beers and a cozy atmosphere too. Only downside is the prices, a bit steep for the portion sizes. Will be back 🌞
