A French bistro on Amiralsgatan from two ex-New York chefs
Volk took over the old Prince Thai space on Amiralsgatan. It's run by the couple Emmylou Källblad and Hugo Lindgren, who both cooked in New York kitchens before moving home to open their own place.
The bistro serves small, shareable plates seven days a week. Gratinéed mussels are the dish to order, and much of the ceramics on the tables was handmade by Hugo's mother.

Volk serves incredibly tasty food! We went for the 5 course tasting menu, and whilst the portions aren’t very big, we left satisfied. The food was amazing, the service was super friendly and the place was very cozy in general!

Unique and cozy restaurant in Malmö, really worth at least a visit. My absolute favorite was the Halibut and Carpaccio on beef fillet with small fine spruce shoots and lingonberries.

honestly disappointing. nice ambiance, good service but the food really fell flat, especially for the price...would come back for a glass of wine, not dinner though.
