Malmö's first Portuguese cervejaria, twenty years in the making
Olá opened on Kungsgatan in spring 2026, after nearly twenty years of owner Ola Rasmusson running Café Kungsgatan on the same street.
Two decades of trips to Portugal through his wife's family gave him the idea for a cervejaria: ice-cold Portuguese beer, wine from across the country, and pastéis de nata baked by David Fernandes of Patisserie David, in a room lined with hand-made Portuguese tilework.

Through and through mediocre place. Food was nothing special at all and comparably expensive. Did also not strike me as an authentic cozy Portuguese place. Could easily have been anything else…

Decent place, but nothing special. It does not feel portuguese at all. Much less like a cosy win bar and more like a commercial spot that happens to put some portugees dishes on the menu.

A great place that serves great beer and delicious (affordable) food. The staff is friendly and especially a Brazilian woman bartender was attentive to the clients and gave us very good vibes. A place that Malmö really needed!
