Skip the sweet Bangkok curries. Lawoi cooks southern Thai style, sour and sharp, with grilled fish and whatever catch they're naming that day. It's a basement room off Lang Suan, so once you're down the stairs the street noise disappears completely.

Friday Bangkok named it one of the year's 25 best openings. Chit Lom is a five-minute walk away, making it an easy detour before or after.

A lovely casual dining spot with beautiful decor and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was enjoyable, though the venue feels more geared toward drinks and catching up with friends than a full dining experience. One area for improvement would be the waiting time, particularly for grilled dishes, which were noticeably slow to arrive.

The food here is unique. We came for lunch and ordered ramen along with a few appetizers, and everything tasted great. The staff were polite, attentive, and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, making it a great place to gather with friends or enjoy a meal with family.

What a gem! Great selection of seafood with interesting, special dishes of the day. We loved the creativity in flavours. Our favourite was the baked rice with fish of the day- such a flavour bomb. We also loved the service and people, thanks for the great time!

Lawoi was really nice restaurant with good mood and delicious food. I like the atmosphere because it feel stylish but not too stiff, so we can relax and enjoy slowly. The dishes was flavorful and have nice balance, not just beautiful plate but also tasty. Some menu have Thai feeling and also modern touch, which make dinner more fun. おしゃれだけど落ち着く感じです。Service was friendly and they explain things nicely. I think Lawoi is good for dinner with friends, date, or visitor who want something a little more special than normal casual restaurant. Drinks also matched well with the food. Overall, Lawoi gave me good memory and I would recommend for people who like creative but comfortable dining.
